The Ambassador Health System is pleased to announce the promotion of Marcia Schroeder to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, Schroeder has oversight of the strategic direction and operation of the Ambassador Health System’s four skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, located in Nebraska and Iowa. Schroeder will create and evaluate annual operating plans and budgets, manage compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, serve as a liaison between the organization and the community, and develop future leadership within the organization. Throughout her tenure with The Ambassador Health System, Schroeder has served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting Processes, and Director of Financial Management and Insurance. Her responsibilities have included: oversight of accounting operations, cost reports, audit preparation, reimbursement and rate analysis, budget development, securing and maintaining the company’s property, liability, workmen’s compensation, health and life insurances.
