The Bridge Behavioral Health to Feature Speaker Dick Beardsley July 12

The Bridge Behavioral Health (thebridgenebraska.org) is teaming up with Dick Beardsley, an elite athlete and best-selling author, for an inspiring July 12 event benefitting The Bridge.

Dick Beardsley was ranked as one of the top five marathoners in the world. He has run world record holders into the ground. From his humble beginnings as a runner, followed by reaching the pinnacle of success only to be brought down by several tragic auto and farm accidents that led to an addiction to narcotic pain medications, join The Bridge for Dick Beardsley’s presentation on overcoming adversity and his personal story of triumph. Get ready for a life-changing evening with heavy hors d’oeuvres and mocktails sponsored by the Lincoln Running Co.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. The event is free, but they are accepting free will donations benefitting The Bridge Behavioral Health. RSVP for more details at bit.ly/DickBeardsley2022. For questions about the event, contact Taylor Brethouwer at (402) 413-2203 / tbrethouwer@thebridgenebraska.org.
