The 22nd Annual Lincoln CBMC (lincoln.cbmc.com) Golf Classic is set for Monday, July 31 at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course. Each year this event attracts more than 100 golfers who enjoy golfing at one of Nebraska’s premier, private courses, while also supporting the ministry of Lincoln CBMC.
After golfer check-in, the event starts with a breakfast featuring guest speaker Ken Korkow. Ken was raised in a ranching and rodeo family and entered the Marine Corps when he was 18. He lived through the 77-day siege of Khe Sanh, the longest and most deadly battle of the Vietnam War. In 1984, Ken became the first Area Director for CBMC Heartland and continues to serve in this role in the Omaha metro area.
