Lincoln Orthopaedic Center Merges with Nebraska Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine
The physicians of Lincoln Orthopaedic Center and Nebraska Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine are proud to announce the combining of their teams to form Nebraska Orthopaedic Center (www.nebraskaortho.com). These trusted groups in the Lincoln community joined forces on January 1 to provide the most comprehensive orthopaedic specialty team in the region.
“Our desire to provide exceptional care for our patients, and because of the pressures facing healthcare providers, have led to the decision by these two premier orthopaedic groups to merge and become Nebraska Orthopaedic Center,” said Dr. Douglas Tewes.
Serving central and southeastern Nebraska since 1948, the physicians of the newly branded Nebraska Orthopaedic Center are excited to further enhance the patient experience and expand access with the opening of Ortho Quick Care. This service will provide same-day care for orthopaedic and sports injuries, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.; and Saturday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
