NeighborWorks Lincoln Welcomes New Development Director Brianna Frickenstein

NeighborWorks Lincoln (NWL, www.nwlincoln.org) is excited to announce the addition of Brianna Frickenstein as its new development director. In this role, Brianna, who goes by Brie, will be responsible for cultivating resources and partners to help the community and housing development organization realize greater impact.

Brie joins NWL after seven years with the Lancaster County Extension Office where she worked to expand healthy food access for Lancaster County’s most vulnerable residents. With an undergraduate degree in food science and nutrition from Wayne State College and a graduate degree in children, youth, and family services from UNL, Brie is deeply invested in the Lincoln community and currently serves as the past chair of Lincoln Young Professionals Group.

“We are thrilled to add Brie to our team where she will continue her focus on improving the quality of life for families across Lincoln,” says NWL CEO Wayne Mortensen. “I believe everyone should have access to healthful foods and affordable housing. In the last seven years, I’ve loved bringing attention to the importance of food,” says Brie. “Now, it’s time to pursue my second passion – affordable housing – and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”
