NLBA Supports Four Nonprofits During Give to Lincoln Day

The Northview Lincoln Business Association (northviewlincolnbusiness.com) has four nonprofit members to highlight during the annual Give to Lincoln Day (G2L), a city-wide event that encourages the community to contribute to Lincoln and Lancaster County nonprofit organizations.

Belmont Community Center provides quality early childhood education, out-of-school youth programs for grades K-5, and a space for neighborhood residents to become + connect.

Center for People in Need supports low-income families by providing the basic needs and educational opportunities necessary to become financially independent.

Fresh Start Home offers safe housing, skill development, and supportive services for women experiencing their transition out of homelessness and into self-sufficiency.

Lancaster County Agricultural Society manages the Lancaster Event Center Fairgrounds and G2L donations support their four community programs: Send-a-Kid-to-the-Fair Experience, Fairgrounds Non-Profit Rental Grants, Adopt-a-Volunteer Fund, and Fairgrounds Workforce Re-Entry Program.

Online giving begins on May 1 building up to the city-wide Give to Lincoln Day on May 26. Donations can be made online at www.givetolincoln.com or via a check sent to the Lincoln Community Foundation. Best of all, dollars given throughout the G2L donation window will make an even bigger impact because there are proportional matching funds given to all participating nonprofits.
