Lincoln Community Foundation (LCF) recently announced the 13th annual Give to Lincoln Day is set for Thursday, May 30 with the largest match fund in the event’s 12-year history. Coordinated by LCF, Give to Lincoln Day is an online event encouraging donations to support the local nonprofits and causes people care about. The event has raised more than $57 million since 2012.
This year, every participating nonprofit organization will receive a proportional share of the record $650,000 match fund based upon its percentage of total dollars raised, thanks to LCF and many generous sponsors including Presenting Sponsor, West Gate Bank. LCF is also pleased to announce the continuation of West Gate Bank’s Presenting Sponsorship for Give to Lincoln Day for the next three years.
“Year after year, Give to Lincoln Day represents what makes our community special,” said Alec Gorynski, LCF President/CEO. “With this year’s record match fund, we can’t wait to create an even bigger impact for our local nonprofits.”
Donors may search participating nonprofits and give online at GiveToLincoln.com starting May 1. Donations must be made before 11:59 p.m. on May 30 to count toward the giving day and the match fund. The minimum donation is $10 per charity. Visit GiveToLincoln.com to learn more.
