Aiding Angels Announces Sponsorship Opportunities for Golf Tournament
Saturday, August 24 marks the 12th Annual Golfing For A Reason Tournament, benefitting the Aiding Angels Foundation. Shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Highlands Golf Course, 5501 NW 12th St. There will be a dinner and prize giveaway following the tournament at 6:30 p.m. Cost to participate is $120/person; $480/team. These prices will go up after the registration deadline of August 14. As this is the only fundraiser held for the foundation throughout the year, it holds crucial value. Aiding Angels is hoping to exceed the funds totaling in $24,000 raised last year for the foundation at this event.
One hundred percent of the money contributed to Aiding Angels will stay in Lincoln and will be used directly to benefit local residents during the toughest battle of their lives. Sponsorships for the event are going quickly and only a few levels are still available.

Aiding Angels (www.aidingangels.com) is a local, 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing free, professional housecleaning to the cancer heroes in our community during one of the most stressful times of their lives. A clean home and environment contributes to the welfare and recovery of patients. Brenda Schwery, local business owner of Maid To Please, founded Aiding Angels in response to an overwhelming number of requests from not only women, but also men and children. Now, the void is filled and the much-needed help is extended to everyone going through cancer treatment or hospice due to cancer.
