Aiding Angels Seeks Donations Following Cancellation of Golfing for a Reason
Aiding Angels (aidingangels.com) made the difficult decision to cancel its Golfing for a Reason tournament originally scheduled for August 29 but is now seeking donations virtually to make up for the loss of their only fundraiser in 2020. Fully 100% of contributions to the nonprofit will stay in Lincoln and be used directly to benefit local residents fighting the toughest battle of their lives—cancer.
Even though the fundraiser was canceled, cancer does not take a hiatus, and the golf tournament provides the funding that Aiding Angels needs to deliver cleaning services to those heroes fighting cancer in the Lincoln community. They are reaching out and asking for continued support through sponsorship donations of $100 (the cost of an entry fee for the golf tournament) or more. Sponsor donors will receive their name on a donor wall, which will appear in newspaper print and on all social media. Aiding Angels will provide the same recognition on a golfer wall for those who registered to golf in the tournament and who now are being asked to donate at least the amount of the entry fee they would have paid.
The Aiding Angels Foundation offers free, professional cleaning services for individuals fighting cancer in Lincoln. Given the global health concerns of the day, their services are more important than ever.
