Since recent tornado activity in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa during the month of April, volunteers for The American Red Cross Serving Nebraska (redcross.org/donate) have canvassed affected areas from Douglas and Cass counties in Nebraska to Page, Fremont and Bueno Vista counties in Iowa. Together, they have distributed more than 250 meals and snacks and over 350 cleaning and relief supplies to more than 65 households. With all the hard work of their volunteers, American Red Cross Serving Nebraska wants to thank each and every one of them. “Fulfilling our mission wouldn’t be possible without the commitment of our volunteers. From disaster recover, to running blood drives, to supporting our military veterans, our volunteers work hard each day.” They shared on their LinkedIn page.
