Eat. Drink. Repeat. That’s been the motto for Birds & Beer, a fundraising event for Angels Among Us (myangelsamongus.org) over the past 6 years. AAU is excited to announce the expansion of Birds & Beer into Lincoln for the first time on Thursday, March 5 at the new Cerris Systems Warehouse!
This signature event combines friends, food, drinks and fun in the spirit of supporting the pediatric cancer families of Nebraska. AAU partners with 12 local restaurants to serve creative chicken concoctions in hopes of winning the ‘Best Bite’ trophy. The agency also partners with the Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild to invite 12 Nebraska-based breweries to compete for ‘Best Brew’.
Tickets for Birds & Beer are $45 for all you can drink local craft beer, all you can eat chicken bites, a custom event beer glass and a credit for a Safe Ride Home thanks to sponsor Hauptman O’Brien. All proceeds from the event support Angels Among Us and their financial assistance program for pediatric cancer families. Secure your tickets now at myangelsamongus.org.
Angels Among Us is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide financial and emotional support to any family whose child is battling pediatric cancer living in or being treated in Nebraska. Since 2006, over 800 families have been supported with over $6 million in financial support.
