Angels Among Us (www.myangelsamongus.org) is excited to be hosting its inaugural Trunk-or-Treat event on October 22 for pediatric cancer families, as a part of their newly launched emotional support programming. There will be trunks hosted by local community partners as well as pumpkin painting and other family friendly activities.

Angels Among Us’ new emotional support programming has impacted many pediatric cancer families who are living in and being treated in Nebraska by providing fun and engaging activities for kids, teens, siblings, and parents during and after their child’s treatment.

“It’s been really nice to get together with other families that have been through the same situation as we have, and to be able to relax and know that we are around folks who understand what we are going through,” an impacted dad said.

There are still opportunities available to host a trunk or volunteer in other ways at the Trunk-or-Treat event. If interested, contact Brittany Friesen at brittany@myangelsamongus.org or by calling (402) 934-0999.
