Youth for Christ (YFC)(yfclincoln.org) Lincoln is launching a new initiative called “Answer the Call” with the goal of getting more volunteers involved in its youth-focused programs and services. Youth for Christ (YFC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging local teens and young adults through relational ministry and supportive programming that fosters growth and positive life outcomes.
“Answer the Call” invites individuals and groups to dedicate their time in a meaningful way, with opportunities to serve in every season of life. Volunteers may feel called to mentor young parents, teach life skills classes, or walk alongside middle and high school students as they navigate everyday challenges. Others may be drawn to serving through juvenile justice ministry, supporting incarcerated youth, or assisting behind the scenes by providing meals or ministry support.
All volunteers will complete background checks and comprehensive ministry-safe training that will ensure a secure, supportive, and encouraging environment for the youth served.
