Apace (goapace.com) celebrated the Open House of a new group home in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. marking an exciting milestone in their commitment to providing safe, accessible homes where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) can live, grow and thrive.
Guests included the families of the three men moving into the home, local donors and representatives from several of the granting agencies that helped make this project possible. It was a wonderful opportunity to welcome their supporters, share the new space and celebrate the impact of their generosity.
This home became a reality thanks to grant funding from the Acklie Foundation, Nebraska Presbyterian Foundation, St. Anthony’s Foundation and the Watt’s Family Trust. Apace also received generous donations from local families who believe in creating inclusive communities and meaningful opportunities for people with IDD. Their support helped make this important investment possible, providing a welcoming place for the three men to call home.
Apace is grateful to everyone who contributed to this project, your generosity makes a lasting difference in the lives of the people Apace supports. Together, they are building a future where everyone has a place to call home. For more information, visit goapace.com.
