ASTD-Lincoln and LHRMA have teamed up to present “The Science and Art of a Mentoring Program.”  Join Edmund Yeh, Ph.D., Leadership Consultant at Talent+, as he walks us through a successful case study that shows how peer coaching and mentoring programs can help foster relationships, collaborative spirit, and the growth of all employees. Attendees will also learn how to best match mentees with mentors using a survey tool and how to build the peer program around the objectives around the needs of the “player” not the “coach.”

An afternoon workshop, “Staffing a Small Organization,” will be presented by Andie Gordman of SilverStone Group and SHRM NE State Council.

In this workshop you will learn:

• Importance of staffing your small business

• Avoid legal traps with staffing

• Examining qualifications, recruiting, and realistic job previews

• Correcting interview barriers

• Predicting skills, motivation, and performance
