ATD Lincoln Announces Upcoming Events
Don’t miss out on the following ATD Lincoln (www.atdlincoln.org) events coming up in the next few months:
May
- ATD Lincoln Book Club: Lincoln on Leadership for Today by Donald T. Philips: Just released in February, the book relates how Abraham Lincoln would handle the pressing crises of our modern world. Barnes & Noble’s Community Business Development Manager will introduce the book and lead a discussion, which will be split over two sessions. You’ll also get to meet other club members at this kickoff of the ATD Lincoln Book Club.
June
- Progressive Learning Event: Art & Soul and Zipline: Learn from two local companies how they lead their organizations, including tips, tricks, and what they have learned along the way.
- Lunch SIG (Special Interest Group): Tech Tools Series with Ranelle Maltas of UNL: Join for one or all three one-hour sessions covering frequently asked questions concerning various software applications.
July
- Behind the Scenes with Spreetail: Fact or Fad? Myth Busting Culture and L&D Trends: As Learning & Development professionals, we are flooded with so much information about how to “revolutionize the classroom” and “pack a punch with this or that new training method” that we can get distracted from what really matters. Join the discussion and learn how to make a bigger impact by ignoring “shiny objects” and keeping the focus on goals.
