Last year, Keep Nebraska Beautiful (KNB) (knb.org) announced the start of a new program: the Sustainability Seal Program. KNB created this program to celebrate green businesses that prioritize sustainable practices in their daily work. The Sustainability Seal is a public commitment to protecting Nebraska’s environment and building a sustainable future. As of now, KNB has awarded half a dozen Nebraska businesses a Sustainability Seal!
For businesses that receive the Sustainability Seal, the benefits are far-reaching. In addition to receiving a static window sticker to proudly display, each recipient will be showcased in a series profiling their commitment to sustainability. These features will be shared across our platforms and website, helping recipients generate positive visibility among the growing base of eco-conscious consumers. This is a unique chance for Nebraska’s businesses to not only share their green efforts but to inspire others in their communities to take meaningful action.
