Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands (BBBSM) invites the community to support local youth by donating during Give to Lincoln Day. For over 50 years, BBBS has served Lancaster County by matching youth (“Littles”) with caring adult mentors (“Bigs”) to build impactful, one-to-one relationships. Through community-based mentoring, matches explore Lincoln by participating in activities like sports, cooking, outdoor recreation, art, and more. BBBS is committed to creating opportunities for all youth, regardless of background or interests.
Donations of any size help make mentoring possible. Here’s how contributions make a difference:
$25 – Supports one meeting for a new Big and Little
$50 – Covers one background check screening for a new Big
$250 – Provides a pre-match training session for new Bigs
$500 – Supports the cost of one BBBS-hosted activity
$2000 – Covers the annual cost of supporting one Little/Big match
Funds raised will directly support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring program, helping to sustain engaging activities, provide ongoing match support, and create meaningful connections between Littles and Bigs. With community support, BBBS can continue to grow and strengthen these life-changing relationships.
