The Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska (biane.org) is pleased to announce that registration is open for its annual 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk/Roll fundraiser, Blazing Trails for Brain Injury.

The event will be held on June 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is open to all ages, abilities and fitness levels to participate and raise money and awareness for brain injury in Nebraska as they walk, run or roll along the course at the Chalco Hills Recreation Area. For the more competitive participants, the 5K run will be timed by Peak Performance: The Running Store and can be used to qualify for marathon events.

Individuals interested in participating in the Blazing Trails for Brain Injury event can register at: bit.ly/2023-BlazingTrails.

All proceeds and donations go towards supporting Nebraskans with brain injuries and their families through the Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska as they work to promote system change for brain injury by building community support networks.

The goal for this year’s event is to raise $25,000 through registrations, donations and sponsorships. These funds will go towards supporting Nebraskans with brain injuries and their families through the Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska.

Questions about the Blazing Trails for Brain Injury event and how to register can be directed to Marketing and Special Events Coordinator Brittney Lippincott via phone (402) 683-0724 or email at brittney@biane.org.
