The Branched Oak Observatory is inviting the public to enjoy two special July events that combine community, appreciation, and unforgettable experiences under the stars.
On July 4, the observatory will host its Silent Fourth of July from 7 p.m. to midnight. This pet-friendly event offers a peaceful alternative to traditional celebrations. Guests are encouraged to bring their leashed pets, favorite food and beverages while enjoying telescope viewing and a relaxing evening away from fireworks.
Then on July 25, the observatory will honor local heroes during its 2nd Annual First Responders Day from 6 p.m. to midnight. Active and retired firefighters, rescue personnel, police officers, doctors and ER nurses receive free admission. The event will feature emergency vehicles, family activities, telescope viewing, food trucks, raffle prizes, giveaways and more.
