Bridges to Hope Collaborates with Thrivent for ‘Giving Tuesday’ Donation Match
Bridges to Hope (bridgestohopene.org ) is excited to announce that they have been selected by Thrivent to be the benefactor of a 50% match of donations collected on Giving Tuesday 2020, December 1. Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving that reminds people who are busy Christmas shopping to take time to remember those less fortunate by donating to nonprofits that serve people in need. For every $2 Bridges to Hope raises on Giving Tuesday, Thrivent will match $1 up to $20,000. With that in mind, Bridges to Hope has set its goal for the day of giving at $40,000 to maximize the match. That means your donation will be extra powerful in getting them to their goal and giving people in need a second chance!
Bridges to Hope, located at 3107 S. 6th St., STE 107, provides services to men and women who have been released from incarceration and are making the transition to a productive life outside of the cell. Their fundraising efforts include Bud’s Thrift Shoppe (2226 O St.), which helps generate money for the sustainability of the organization—100% of the proceeds from the store go directly back to fund Bridges to Hope’s mission.
