Bright Lights is looking for summer classroom assistants to work with K-9th students during the 2012 Bright Lights summer program. Bright Lights hands-on classes enable students to pursue their passions in science, the arts, math, animals, music, and robotics.
Volunteer Assistants are needed between 9th grade through college and beyond. GOPO and Community service hours can be earned.
Assistants are trained during a two hour session in May. Volunteers can log 20 hours during one week. Anyone interested in an international experience can assist at Lux Middle School the week of June 18-22 when students from Japan will join our classes.
Bright Lights will accept applications online beginning February 14 through mid-March at www.brightlights.org. Classes are held the weeks of June 4-8, June 18-22, and July 9-13.
