Registration for Bright Lights Summer Learning Adventures 2026 summer camps is now open! The schedule for this year’s camps can be found at Brightlights.org/camps.
And this summer marks a milestone for the popular, long-standing Lincoln nonprofit: It’s Bright Lights 40th summer of offering hands-on, STEAM-infused summer learning experiences for
students in K-8th grades. Half-day and full-day camp topics range from art and science to robotics, literature, engineering and more.
The 2026 summer camps will take place over five weeks: June 1-5, June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26 and July 6-10. Roper Elementary School will be the main site with additional camps at community locations around Lincoln. Before Care and Lunch Care services are also available at select locations.
With over 120 half-day and full-day camps to choose from this summer – 34 of them new! – there is bound to be something of interest for almost every student. A few of the new camps include
Musicals and Masterpieces, MedQuest, Penguin Experts and Tech Builders. There will also be returning favorites such as Hogwarts, Reptiles Rock and LEGO® Robotics.
And, for the first time, Bright Lights is offering Twinkles, a playful, hands-on camp designed just for soon-to-be Kindergarteners.
