On December 10, 2023, area choirs gathered for the annual Carole Fest, a benefit for the St. Gianna Program of Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska (CSS, www.csshope.org). The choirs performed Advent and Christmas songs of the season at St. John the Apostle Church in Lincoln. Performers included the North American Martyrs choir, the St. Teresa Men’s Club choir, Ellen and Carolyn Soukup, the St. Patrick’s choir, the St. Thomas Aquinas Chamber choir and the St. John the Apostle choir. Free-will offerings were accepted with all proceeds going to the support of St. Gianna Program. St. Gianna Program is a domestic violence and crisis pregnancy of CSS offering services in Lincoln, Hastings, Auburn and Imperial. You can enjoy a recording of Carole Fest at csshope.org/carolefest.
