Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska (CSS) (csshope.org) has announced the dates of fundraising events for the new year. The 21st annual Trumpet Fest is the first event of the year and will take place on Sunday, February 16 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, 7900 Trendwood Drive. At Trumpet Fest you can enjoy music from the area’s finest trumpeters including Kevin Murray, UNL’s Dr. Darryl White and the Darryl White Trio, and UNK’s Dr. Louie Eckhardt. Admission is free but hats will be passed for a free-will offering to support the programs of CSS. Mark your calendars for these other upcoming events:
