CBMC’s 20th Annual Golf Classic Focuses on Connections, Fellowship, Impact

CBMC Lincoln (lincoln.cbmc.com) hosted its 20th annual golf classic and luncheon on July 26 at Wilderness Ridge. More than 100 golfers and an additional 35 individuals attended the luncheon, and participants experienced a fun afternoon of golf and great fellowship. The special 20th anniversary event concluded with team awards, raffle prizes, and a silent auction.

Guest speaker for the luncheon was Rod Handley, founder and president of the ministry Character that Counts. Handley has published over 30 books and has spoken at hundreds of chapel services for collegiate, NFL, NBA, and MLB teams. He has previously served with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), including 11 years as COO/CFO. Handley has also served as team chaplain for the Seattle SuperSonics and the Kansas City Royals.
Over 100 businesses participated again this year as event sponsors or donors of prizes and silent auction items. A video of the event highlights and luncheon message, as well as a list of sponsors and donors, can be found at lincoln.cbmc.com.
