CEDARS Unveiled Expansion with Ribbon Cutting Conducted by Lincoln Chamber

CEDARS (www.cedarskids.org) celebrated the completion of its almost year-long expansion project with a ribbon cutting on September 9 at their location, 6601 Pioneers Blvd. CEDARS invited donors, community partners, and leaders who all played a role in turning the campaign into a reality for kids. The event was hosted in conjunction with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Over the last year, CEDARS has been working on a $3.5 million facilities improvement project to transform its emergency shelter. Funded by The Heart of CEDARS campaign, this expansion has added 3,875 square feet of kitchen, dining, and activity space to CEDARS facility, creating a new environment that shows kids how much the community cares for their health and well-being.
