Center for People in Need Offers English Language Instruction for Businesses

Center for People in Need (cfpin.org) has announced that they are offering English Language instruction onsite for local businesses. This service is for employers who have employees with limited English language skills. Research shows that as language skills improve, so does confidence, productivity, customer service, internal promotions, and employee retention. Also, absenteeism, errors, and isolation decline.

The instructors from the Center for People in Need can bring the classroom to you, teaching your employees not just the fundamentals of English, but also the vocabulary specific to your workplace, products, and policies. Policy manuals and handbooks can be translated to Arabic and Kurdish for employees to read in their native language and improve their understanding of important safety guidelines and performance expectations.

The Center for People in Need offers low income individuals and families services that help them meet their basic needs. If you have considered investing in your employees through English instruction, contact Sue Saxton at (402) 476-4357 (Ext. 166) or email ssaxton@cfpin.org to discuss an instruction plan tailored to your needs.
