Center for People in Need Presents Toyland for Kids Event December 14–16

The Center for People in Need (cfpin.org) recently announced their highly-anticipated annual Toyland for Kids event for the holiday season, which will take place Saturday, December 14 through Monday, December 16. Low-income parents and guardians of children ages 18 and under are invited to go to the Center for People in Need’s distribution room, 3901 N. 27th St., to “shop” for toys for their children so they can fill their children’s stockings with cheer and surprises for Christmas morning!

Throughout the year, the Center for People in Need assists approximately 16,000 people in need of some help. They are dedicated to their mission of providing services to low-income people and helping them to address their basic needs and to work toward economic independence. The organization provides basic services, including food, emergency services, English language skills, educational opportunities, and employment skills.
