Child Advocacy Center Seeking Community Partners to Host Snack Drives

Is your business or organization looking for a simple way to make a difference this holiday season? Consider hosting a snack drive for the Child Advocacy Center (www.smallvoices.org).

Children who come to the CAC are facing difficult issues, including alleged sexual assault, serious physical abuse and neglect. The center provides a child-friendly space where children can tell their story in their own words to experts trained to handle trauma. The CAC also offers medical evaluations and ongoing advocacy for children and their families.

During this time in a child’s life, CAC staff puts special care into making the environment at the center as comfortable and inviting as possible. One way we do this is by offering snacks and juice boxes for each child. Items we need include: juice boxes, individually packaged snack foods (peanut-free) and coffee K-cups for the caregivers. If you are interested in supporting the mission of the Child Advocacy Center through hosting a snack drive, call Carole Tanner at (402) 476-3200 or email carole@smallvoices.org. To make a monetary donation online or for more information, visit the CAC website at www.smallvoices.org.

Together we can make a difference and put more power behind small voices.
