City Impact Celebrates Grand Opening of Scheels Gym & Fitness Center

On April 9, City Impact (cityimpact.org) welcomed friends, family, community members, and their partners at the Scheels Foundation and Lincoln’s Scheels All Sports store to celebrate the grand opening of the new Scheels Gym & Fitness Center. The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce joined in the celebration to conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event also included family-friendly activities, giveaways from local businesses, and tours of the new facility. Children and families involved with City Impact will be able to use the gym for fitness classes, basketball leagues, and so much more. Additionally, City Impact is partnering with local organizations to maximize the new gym.

City Impact would like to thank everyone who came to the event to support their organization and celebrate this beautiful new space. This gym means the world to local youth and is already serving local families and growing community partnerships. For those who were not able to attend and would like to see the new center, anyone is able to sign up for a one-hour Impact Tour (cityimpact.org/impact_tour) to also hear inspiring stories of gospel transformation.
