City Impact to Host Ribbon Cutting for New Scheels Gym & Fitness Center

Through the generosity of the Scheels Foundation and Lincoln’s Scheels All Sports store, the dream of having a gym at City Impact (cityimpact.org) to serve neighborhood families is now a reality. Children and families involved with City Impact will be able to use the gym for fitness classes, basketball leagues, and so much more. To celebrate this new aspect of City Impact, they will host a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, April 9 from 4–8 p.m. at City Impact (1035 N 33rd St.). This event will include family-friendly activities, giveaways from local businesses, and a chance for the community to view the new facility.
