CLIA is the only non-profit in Lincoln that offers direct legal immigration services. Their team consists of attorneys, paralegals, representatives and support staff that is committed to helping immigrants and refugees in Nebraska.
Coco Chairez, owner of New Start Cleaning (newstartcleaningllc.com) in Lincoln, is a member of the board along with the Latino Network group. They are partnering with CLIA to raise money with a Dia de Muertos or Day of the Dead Sip and Paint guided by artist Kendra Limon at Neveria La Monarca from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 21.
The proceeds from the event will go towards CLIA to help benefit their organization and bring help to immigrants and refugees in need in Nebraska. For more information on the event, scan the QR code or visit clianeb.networkforgood.com.
