Since 2003, Clinic with a Heart (clinicwithaheart.org) has continued to bridge the healthcare gap in Lincoln and Lancaster County by ensuring that anyone, regardless of insurance coverage, can access urgent medical care at no cost to the patient. In an effort to expand on this mission, beginning in March of this year, Clinic with a Heart will be holding 2 extra medical clinic nights on the second and third Mondays of the month.
In 2024, Clinic with a Heart held, on average, 134 medical appointments per month; the new service nights have the capacity to help 40 more people on top of that. Each year Clinic with a Heart treats thousands of people, wearing their hearts on their sleeve. Despite that, there exist many people who are unable to be seen. As a free clinic they strive to serve as many community members as necessary with hospitality, dignity and grace. Having 12 additional nights enables clinic providers to see approximately 400 more community members in need a year, for a healthier community.
Clinic with a Heart is dedicated to providing health and hope to those they serve, learn more at clinicwithaheart.org.
