Voices of Hope (voicesofhopelincoln.org) Launches Shop to Stop Domestic Violence During Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
This October, in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Voices of Hope is partnering with local businesses across Lincoln for Shop to Stop Domestic Violence, a month-long fundraising and awareness campaign supporting survivors and their families.
Throughout the four weeks of October, participating businesses will raise critical funds through special promotions, give-back opportunities and community engagement efforts. The campaign
provides a meaningful way for businesses and community members to come together to address domestic violence while supporting local commerce.
Every dollar raised helps Voices of Hope continue providing free, confidential, trauma-informed services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking,
trafficking and related forms of violence. Services include crisis intervention, advocacy, support groups, safety planning and community education.
Domestic violence impacts individuals and families throughout our community. Shop to Stop Domestic Violence empowers local businesses and residents to take action, raise awareness and invest in a safer future for all.
