Join Down Syndrome Association for Families of Nebraska (DSAF) (dsafnebraska.org) in supporting local families in Nebraska by participating in DSAF’s largest fundraiser, the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk on Saturday, October 5. The proceeds from this event go towards providing educational support groups for parents, enrichment activities for individuals with Down syndrome and crucial information for new and expectant parents. Their goal is to raise $100,000 to continue supporting over 200 families in the Lincoln community who receive assistance from the Down Syndrome Association for Families. This walk is not only a premier Down syndrome awareness and education event, but also a celebration of the important role individuals with Down syndrome play in the community. Over 1,200 attendees show their support each year, rain or shine. Your participation or donation can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by Down syndrome. Let’s work together to make a positive impact! Learn more at ds-stride.org/dsafstepup.
