is proud to sponsor Read Aloud Lincoln, a city-wide initiative through Prosper Lincoln’s Early Childhood Development, which promote reading aloud to children up to five-years-old for 15 minutes daily. From April 29 through May 31, Essentials will be holding a book drive. Please bring new, or gently used (like new) books to the book shelf in the Essentials/McCombs Realty Office lobby, located at 6333 Apples Way, STE 115.

It is a perfect time to support Read Aloud Lincoln by collecting children’s board books or picture books, as April 29–May 5 is the 100th anniversary of Children’s Book Week. Essentials hopes to fill and re-fill the shelves to provide books to give to young children at the Party on the Plaza, which will be held at Union Plaza on May 18 from 4 to 7 p.m.
