On Oct. 19, Foster Care Closet (fostercarecloset.org) hosted their annual Tailored for Tomorrow gala which was a huge success. The event was held at Lincoln’s Memorial Stadium and raised funds essential to Foster Care Closet’s mission to provide dignity to youth in crisis and in the foster care system by providing clothing and essentials to eligible youth.
Foster Care Closet also is continuing its mobile closet tour through the rest of the year statewide to deliver brand-new, seasonal wardrobes directly to foster youth at no cost. The schedule is available at fostercarecloset.org. These vital mobile services are made possible through community support, anchored by the Tailored for Tomorrow Gala and the funds it raises.
