Foster Care Closet Ready for Colder Weather with Season Changeover

The Foster Care Closet (www.fostercarecloset.org) is committed to helping restore dignity to children entering foster care with brand new clothing to assist in the transition. They continue to show this support to families with foster children through their Season Changeover, which occurs twice a year. The Foster Care Closet staff has been working hard to put summer in storage and bring out the fall apparel. Their store is completely stocked with new and in style seasonal clothing. They invite families with children in foster care to come shop for five new outfits free of charge, as well as socks, shoes, underwear, and hygiene items twice a year.

The Season Changeover is completely donor funded. The Foster Care Closet has established partnerships with clothing manufacturers and local vendors. These connections help multiply the value of every donor dollar. To shop in the store, appointments must be made in advance and can be done by contacting The Foster Care Closet at (402) 853-9990 or on Facebook (@FosterCareCloset).

The mission of The Foster Care Closet of Nebraska is to help restore dignity to children entering foster care. They allow them to enter their new foster home fed, clean, and clothed. To learn more about The Foster Care Closet of Nebraska, visit www.fostercarecloset.org.
