Fresh Start’s Pandemic Impact Lessened Due to $20K Grant from COVID-19 Response Fund

Fresh Start (freshstarthome.org) recently received a grant from the Lincoln COVID-19 Response Fund for $20,000. The Lincoln COVID-19 Response Fund is awarded to nonprofits in Lincoln that are working with populations heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Fresh Start is in awe of how many businesses, government, and philanthropic partners have come together to help during this unprecedented time.

“Fresh Start has always provided essential services to the women in our community. Support from the Lincoln COVID 19 Response Fund will help us continue to assist women experiencing homelessness in our community. Lincoln is a strong, close-knit community. Together, we will get through this,” said Executive Director Monica Zinke.
