Golf Tournament for Friendship Home Set for June 12
On Sunday, June 12th, Friendship Home (friendshiphome.org) supporters will be “Driving to Putt an End to Domestic Violence” during the 9th annual golf tournament at HiMark Golf Course.
This event is entirely volunteer-coordinated, meaning every penny raised goes to help local families escape violent homes.
Teams of 4 will play in a scramble format with a 2:00 p.m. shotgun start. The team entry fee is $265 and includes green fees, cart rental and lunch on the course. Participants will have opportunities to win flag prizes on the course and raffle prizes after the tournament concludes. The winning team will receive HiMark Pro Shop gift certificates.
The deadline to register a team is May 27th; registration is limited to the first 25 teams. To register, contact Amy at (402) 560-3916 or amyschlichting@gmail.com.
