Goodwill (lincolngoodwill.org) and Gateway Mall are collaborating for another spook-tacular Halloween and offering three free events to the Lincoln community. First, on Saturday, October 12, they will host a Make & Take Workshop where attendees will receive craft supplies to create a bootiful Halloween garland. This workshop is made possible by Goodwill’s Bits and Pieces section in their stores that meet all crafting needs from jewelry to utensils and ribbon to glue. Then, on Saturday, October 26, four-legged friends are invited to the Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest. Prizes and treats will be awarded. Finally, on Thursday October 31, join them for a safe and fun Halloween at the Candy Crawl Trick-or-Treat event. Participating stores will hand out treats to all kids ages 12 and under. Reusable tote bags will be available to collect candy. During the event, enter the DIY Costume Contest to win a prize.
All events are located in the common area behind Scooter’s at Gateway Mall. To learn more about these events and how to register, follow them on Facebook @LincolnGoodwill or visit lincolngoodwill.org.
