Gourmet Comfort Classic Raises $50K for Child Guidance Center

The stars were aligned for the 10th Annual Gourmet Comfort Classic event which was held on Friday, May 4. Thank you to everyone who attended or helped in any way with the success of this event!

This generosity supports Child Guidance Center’s (www.child-guidance.org) mission of inspiring healthy futures for children and families through comprehensive behavioral and mental health services.

Congratulations to Chef Sean Carmichael of Chez Hay and Chez SoDo for the best gourmet Macaroni & Cheese! Thank you to all of the other chefs and restaurants as the voting was very close between Billy’s Restaurant, ChefauChef, Chef Karim’s Place, Stur 22, and the Nebraska Club. The food you provided was delicious!

Another highlight was presenting the 2018 Leader in Children’s Mental Health Award to ABC Electric and the Whitmer Family! Child Guidance Center is grateful for supporters like Mae Whitmer, Lori Wennstedt, Ph.D., and John Whitmer.
