Heartland Cancer Foundation (HCF) (heartlandcancerfoundation.org) is here for you and your family. This year, over 11,000 Nebraskans received a cancer diagnosis, and many faced financial barriers to life-saving care due to the cost of their treatment journey. Donations to the HCF help alleviate these burdens, covering essential housing and transportation expenses so patients can focus on what matters most: healing.

This year alone, HCF has supported 187 cancer patients with housing and transportation grants totaling $140,251. Looking ahead to 2025, the foundation is committed to expanding its impact by increasing grant amounts to $1,000 and extending services to more Nebraska counties. Patients can choose the areas where they need assistance most, such as mortgage or rent payments, utility bills, fuel expenses or car loans. HCF has never turned down a request, but they need ongoing support to continue giving the gift of hope this holiday season.

There are several ways to contribute: make a donation on Giving Tuesday, give a year-end gift, sponsor the Mardi Gras Gala on Saturday, February 8, 2025 schedule a recurring gift to provide steady support, or designate HCF as a beneficiary in your estate planning.

Your compassionate contribution could be the spark of hope a patient desperately needs. Learn more, get involved or make an online donation at heartlandcancerfoundation.org.
