The inaugural Junior Achievement (lincoln.ja.org) Business Hall of Fame Dinner and Auction, held on September 27 at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel, was an inspiring evening celebrating local business leaders and supporting youth entrepreneurship.
Five visionary laureates—Marc LeBaron (Lincoln Industries), Nick Cusick (Bison, Inc.), Tom Smith (D.A. Davidson), Dan Remigio, and Earl Hatfield—were honored for their contributions to the business community. Their stories of success and generosity deeply inspired the audience.
The night included a silent auction, delicious dinner and remarks from special guest speakers, all highlighting Junior Achievement’s impact on students in Lincoln. Attendees enjoyed bidding on exciting auction items, with proceeds going directly to support JA’s educational programs.
The evening’s highlight was the induction of the laureates, whose wisdom and stories underscored the value of mentorship and community support.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the event raised over $141,000, supporting JA’s mission to prepare young people for success. Junior Achievement is excited for the future as they continue shaping tomorrow’s business leaders—one student at a time.
Junior Achievement is dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices.
