Junior Achievement of Lincoln successfully hosted its largest-ever Stock Market Challenge on April 15 at Pinnacle Bank Arena, bringing together nearly 550 students from schools across Nebraska for a day of high-energy competition and hands-on financial learning.

The annual event immersed students in a fast-paced stock market simulation where teams made real-time investment decisions based on changing market conditions, economic news and strategic risk assessment. Throughout the challenge, students applied critical thinking, teamwork and financial literacy skills as they worked to grow their portfolios and outperform competing schools.

This year’s competition marked the biggest in the event’s history, reflecting growing enthusiasm for experiential learning opportunities that prepare students for future success in business and personal finance.

“The Stock Market Challenge gives students a memorable opportunity to practice skills they can carry into college, careers, and life,” said Junior Achievement of Lincoln.

Junior Achievement extends its gratitude to the educators, volunteers, and sponsors whose support made the event possible and helped inspire the next generation of Nebraska leaders. Visit their website at lincoln.ja.org.
