Kids’ Chance to Bring Community Together through Wine & Indian Food Fundraiser
Join Kids’ Chance of Nebraska (www.kidschanceofne.org) for their Wine & Indian Food Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Candy Factory Atrium in downtown Lincoln, 201 N. 8th St. This event will serve as a great opportunity to socialize with others in the workers’ compensation arena while enjoying local wine from James Arthur Vineyards, founded by the “Pioneer of Nebraska Wine” James Ballard, along with the best Indian food from The Oven. Funds raised at this event will go towards supporting Kids’ Chance of Nebraska’s mission of furthering the education of children who have lost or had a parent seriously injured in a work-related accident—turning tragedy into opportunity!
The mission of Kids’ Chance of Nebraska is to provide financial support to further the education of the children of Nebraska workers who have been severely injured, totally disabled, or killed as a result of employment related injuries or occupational diseases. It is the goal of Kids’ Chance of Nebraska to make a difference in the lives of these children by providing scholarships to help eligible students achieve both their educational goals and their families’ dreams. Email kidschanceofnebraska@gmail.com with any questions and please visit www.kidschanceofne.org for more information. Registration for the fundraiser can be found on Eventbrite.
