Liberty First Credit Union has been a longtime supporter of Credit Unions for Kids, and is proud to announce that they raised over $7,500 in funds to benefit Omaha’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in 2013. Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapter, leagues/associations and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Credit Unions are the 3rd largest sponsor of CMN Hospitals.
Fundraising efforts include Miracle Jeans day, Change a Child’s Life Coin Drive, and Holiday icon sales which are three national credit union-focused campaigns. Members and employees at Liberty First CU also focus on internal and community fundraising. Liberty Firsts’ largest CMNH fundraiser is their annual Sand Volleyball Tournament hosted in early June. Liberty First would like to thank their members, employees and the communities they serve whose generous fundraising efforts helped them surpass their 2013 goal.
