Lincoln Animal Ambassadors will host its 6th Annual Wine & Howl fundraiser at Deer Springs Winery on June 7th. The event will run from 11 am to 5 pm and will feature live music, vendors, a rescue roundup, food, and of course, wine. Deer Springs Winery is located just east of Lincoln on Adams at 162nd Street. Wine & Howl is held in this beautiful country setting, and you are encouraged to bring your dog(s), try the wines, listen to the music, and have a great time!
Wine & Howl features individual and corporate sponsors of food, music, raffle prizes, and wine. Last year’s attendance exceeded 275 people, and that number is expected to increase this year. This fundraiser also helps raise awareness about local rescue groups and how these groups are assisting companion animals in our area.
As an all-volunteer organization, all money raised will be used locally to further LAA’s mission. LAA promotes enriching our community through progressive thinking, humane education, awareness, and public support. They are committed to improving the lives of animals and alleviating cruelty in Lincoln and the surrounding area through their pet food bank and low-cost spay/neuter program.
