Lincoln Community Foundation to Host Lincoln Littles Giving Day February 12
The Lincoln Community Foundation (www.lincolnlittles.org) will host Lincoln Littles giving day on February 12. Last year, the Foundation hosted its first ever Lincoln Littles giving day in honor of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, February 12. The day, inspired by the Prosper Lincoln agenda on early childhood, raised an impressive $637,397 to help more than 110 children from working families to access quality early childhood programs.
In order to continue to raise funds for children from families facing the greatest odds, the Lincoln Community Foundation will once again host the online giving platform. Online donations are now being collected through 11:59 p.m. on February 12 at www.lincolnlittles.org. Donations may also be made in person on February 12 by cash or check at the Lincoln Community Foundation between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Checks must be written to “Lincoln Community Foundation” with “Lincoln Littles” written in the memo line.
Seed funding is granted by W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Buffett Early Childhood Fund. Champions for Children match partners are Acklie Charitable Foundation, Harbor of Dreams, Jim and Penny Krieger Family Foundation, Susan Sehnert Stuart, and Mae Whitmer.
Established in 1955, the Lincoln Community Foundation strives to continually enrich the Lincoln community by promoting and achieving perpetual philanthropic support. To learn more, call (402) 474-2345, or visit www.lincolnlittles.org to donate to Lincoln Littles today.
